Grateful for another day to live
To love, survive?
I find such simple pleasures
Just by walking in rain
For every day that comes to me
Is never quite the same
Each moment is precious
Each breath I inward take
My heartbeat is passing time
The thoughts that I shall make
Mostly I take for granted
Such beauty everywhere
But suddenly I realize the wonder
I can share!
